 Q: What does any school-leaver know about money management, by the time they leave school? A: Not enough! So, Bright Media was commissioned to develop materials for South African high schools. Now that Maths is a compulsory subject for leaving school, teachers and learners alike are seeking high quality learning materials that make financial education a reality in the Mathematical Literacy classroom. Managing Your Money was developed for the Financial Services Board (FSB) and South African Insurance Association (SAIA). Teachers were trained with the full cooperation of the Department of Education, national, provincial and district level, and files with multimedia resources distributed to assist classrooms to make the most of the lessons.
